It's no secret that life can get boring sometimes. Especially when you have a set routine and work a basic 9-5. Sometimes it can feel like you are repeating the same day over and over again. It feels like a never-ending loop that you'll be in for the rest of your life.

I've kind of been stuck lately, too. Everything seems the same. Every work day is the same, and everything I do when I come home is the same. It makes me feel like I'm missing out on the best parts of life. But I've recently been trying to add a little bit of spice to the things I do everyday. I try to "romanticize" everything I do. Whether that means getting a coffee on my way to work, or wearing a cute outfit and doing my makeup... It's the little things that can bring joy to our every day routines. It could literally be as simple as cooking breakfast and making it look aesthetically pleasing, or reading a book outside while the sun is setting. Any of these things could be enjoyable and could really help to make life a little more fun.

I've recently been trying to go to places on my own, like a bookstore or a coffee shop, or even just one of my favorite stores that I like to shop at. I love getting a coffee and going to look around at shops and just being able to take my time. It used to give me so much social anxiety to even think about going shopping on my own, but now it's almost therapeutic for me. I still don't go to the store during busy times, though. I try to stick to early morning a little after the store has opened up. Besides, morning time is my favorite, so getting outside first thing and going to my favorite places makes it extra peaceful.

My absolute favorite thing to do to romanticize my life is by decorating my space to be cute and cozy. I used to not really care how my space looked aesthetic-wise, but now I love adding cute little things around my room to make it feel more like me. My bookshelf is probably my favorite thing in my room right now, because it holds everything I love. Your space should be your comfort-zone. Somewhere you can go to relax and ease your worries. It's important to romanticize it and make it enjoyable for yourself. I am always looking for more ways I could make my space even better for myself.

There are lots of different things you can do to add some spice to your daily life. Whatever it is, it's important to do something so you aren't just reliving the same day over and over again. That is definitely no way to live.
